MASTER OF PORT – BENELUX 2026
Registration
A professional competition dedicated to specialist knowledge of Port, created for sommeliers and eligible wine professionals in the Benelux.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
The MASTER OF PORT competition is aimed at sommeliers and is exclusive to members of the partner sommelier associations.
Candidates must:
- be over 18;
- be members of one of the partner sommelier associations;
- have at least two years of professional experience in premises open to the public, working as a sommelier, maître d'hôtel, head waiter, restaurateur, wine store owner or wine merchant.
Previous MASTER OF PORT winners are not eligible to reapply.

Quarter-finals in Portugal for the 10 selected candidates
MASTER OF PORT RECOGNITION
The winner receives the title MASTER OF PORT – BENELUX, recognition within the sommelier profession and the opportunity to act as a Port ambassador in the Benelux.
The winner will also receive:
- a silver Port cup engraved “Master of Port”;
- a Master of Port pin;
- a selection of premium Port wines.
Finalists will also receive a selection of premium Ports.
