Born in Porto, with formal education in Mechanical Engineering at the Faculdade de Engenharia do Porto. In 2014, he began his career in the wine industry with his own project, Wine Tellers, where he wanted to change the face of how wine was communicated. However, his career truly began as a Sommelier at The Yeatman Hotel, during which time he began training in Expertise in Wine Management at ISAG-EBS, a course on which he now teaches as a guest lecturer. After a period at Le Monumental Palace as Head of Sommelier, where he was responsible for building the wine programme of this luxury hotel in the centre of Porto, he is back at his old "home". He took over the opening of the Wine Experience in the World of Wine project, where more recently he has taken on a new challenge as director of The Wine School of The Fladgate Partnership group.
