Ronald is a seasoned wine educator, specialized in WSET courses – he is Lead Diploma (Level 4) Tutor at the New Zealand School for Wines & Spirits, regularly teaches for De Wijnstudio in The Netherlands and is active in WSET's Online Classroom, guiding many students through different parts of their WSET education. Next to that, Ronald is a wine writer and columnist at The Netherlands' oldest wine publication, Perswijn Magazine. Fortified wines (and especially Port) have always had a special place in Ronald's heart, ever since he started out in the wine business in the early 2000s as boutique importer of Portuguese wines.
